How old do I need to be to study at St Hilda’s?

We teach girls aged 11 to 18 and accept international students from the age of 13.   If you have any queries about making an application, please contact the Director of International Students.


How much are the International school fees for 2010? 

School Tuition Fees NZD$14,800.00

Insurance (12 months’ cover) NZD $599.00 

School Administration Fee NZD$300.00

Homestay Fees (48 weeks at NZD$200 per week) NZD$9,600.00

Homestay Administration Fee (48 weeks at NZD$15 per week) NZD$720.00

Disbursement Examination Fees Deposit NZD$1,500.00

St Hilda’s accepts around 400 girls, plus 25 international students to study each year.

When can I commence studies at St Hilda’s?

You can begin your studies at the beginning of any term, although we prefer you to join us at the beginning of the school year as it makes it easier for you to settle in.
